NTPC commences commercial operation of Unit-2 of 660 MW capacity at Tanda Super Thermal Power Station

NTPC Ltd has announced that Unit-2 of 660 MW capacity of Tanda Super Thermal Power Station, Stage-II (2 x 660 MW) is hereby declared on commercial operation w.e.f 00:00 Hrs of 01.07.2021.

With this, the commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC group will become 52400 MW and 65165 MW respectively.

Shares of NTPC LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.116.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 118.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 675339 in over 6552 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 119.05 and intraday low of 115.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 78913009.
