RIL announces emergency shutdown of FCCU in Jamnagar SEZ refinery

The Fluidized Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) in Reliance Industries Ltd's SEZ refinery at Jamnagar had to be taken for an emergency shutdown on 6th June 2021. All other units at the Jamnagar Refining complex are operating normally. Consequently, some product shipments may get delayed and the company is working to minimize the impact on its customers. The FCCU unit is being repaired on top priority and is expected to be restarted expeditiously.

Shares of RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.2174.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2214.7. The total number of shares traded during the day was 359005 in over 26529 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2221.6 and intraday low of 2158.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 786218723.
