The Board of Directors of Akzo Nobel India Limited, at its meeting held today, has considered and recommended final dividend of Rs 30/- (Rupees thirty only) per equity share for the financial year 2020-21. This dividend will be paid if approved by the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. The total dividend for the financial year aggregates to Rs 50/- (Rupees fifty only) per share, including interim dividend of Rs. 20/- (Rupees twenty only) per share, approved by the Board on 9 February 2021 and paid subsequently.
"The Board of Akzo Nobel India remains committed to creating value for its shareholders. The Board has therefore recommended a dividend of ₹30 per share, bringing the total dividend per share for 2020-21 to ₹50 per share", said Mr Jain, Chairman Akzo Nobel India. This is subject to shareholder approval.
Shares of Akzo Nobel India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs.2270.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2220.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 4050 in over 686 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2273.7 and intraday low of 2222. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9142985.
