Ashok Leyland Limited has sold 12762 vehicles in December 2020

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of December 2020. The company has reported 14% increase in sales during December 2020 at 12762 units as against 11168 units in December 2019. Domestic sales was 14% higher in December 2020 at 11857 units as compared to 10378 units in December 2019.

LCV sales was up 42% YoY at 5878 units in December 2020 as against 4143 units in December 2019. Domestic LCV sales increased 42% YoY to 5682 units during December 2020, as compared to 4009 units in December 2019.

M&HCV sales dropped 2% YoY to 6884 units in December 2020, as against 7025 units in December 2019. M&HCV bus sales was down 79% YoY to 649 units in December 2020 as compared to 3067 units in December 2019. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 58% YoY at 6235 units, as against 3958 units in December 2019.

Domestic M&HCV sales was down 3% YoY at 6175 units, as compared to 6369 units in December 2019. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 56% to 5930 units as against 3809 units in December 2019. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus dropped 90% to 245 units in December 2020, as compared to 2560 units in December 2019.

Shares of ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.99.1 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 95.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2852221 in over 10339 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 99.9 and intraday low of 95.5. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 278569696.
