Bharti Infratel Ltd is now Indus Towers Ltd

The company has received approval from the Registrar of Companies, NCT of Delhi and Haryana for change of name of the Company from Bharti Infratel Limited to Indus Towers Limited as provided in the Scheme of amalgamation and arrangement between the Company and erstwhile Indus Towers Limited and their respective shareholders and creditors. In this regard, the Registrar of Companies has issued a fresh certificate of incorporation dated December 10, 2020 certifying the name change.

Consequently, pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the name of the Company has been changed from Bharti Infratel Limited to Indus Towers Limited, wherever appearing in the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) of the Company.

Shares of BHARTI INFRATEL LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.244.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 245.8. The total number of shares traded during the day was 6928014 in over 4471 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 247.3 and intraday low of 240.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1697221426.
