Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd reduces size of equity issue

Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited ("ESFB/Bank") had earlier filed DRHP with SEBI for and offer that comprised Fresh Issue of Equity Shares aggregating up to ₹5,500 million by the Bank and an Offer for Sale of up to 8,00,00,000 Equity Shares by Equitas Holdings Limited ("EHL" or "Company").

The size of the Fresh Issue has now been reduced from up to ₹5,500 million to up to ₹2,800 million and the number of Equity Shares offered through the Offer for Sale by the Company, has been reduced from up to 80,000,000 Equity Shares to up to 72,000,000 Equity Shares.

The Employee Reservation Portion for Eligible Employees has been reduced from up to ₹50 million to up to ₹10 million and the EHL Shareholder Reservation Portion for Eligible EHL Shareholders has been reduced from up to ₹1,000 million to up to ₹510 million.

Shares of Equitas Holdings Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.51.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 48.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 192303 in over 1185 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 53.8 and intraday low of 49. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9795140.
