Unichem Laboratories Ltd receives ANDA approval for Tolterodine Tartrate Tablets

Unichem Laboratories Limited has received ANDA approval for its Tolterodine Tartrate Tablets, USP 1 mg and 2 mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market a generic version of DETROL® (tolterodine tartrate) tablets of Pfizer Inc.

Tolterodine tartrate tablets are indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency. The product will be commercialized from Unichem's Goa Plant.

Shares of UNICHEM LABORATORIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.262.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 260.5. The total number of shares traded during the day was 23959 in over 1098 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 268.2 and intraday low of 259. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 6317406.
