Google to invest Rs. 33,737 crore in Jio Platforms Ltd

Jio Platforms Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, today signed binding agreements with Google International LLC pursuant to which Google would invest Rs. 33,737 crore for a 7.73% equity stake in Jio Platforms Limited on a fully-diluted basis. Google is investing at an equity valuation of Rs. 4.36 lakh crore.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Shares of RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1916.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1934.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1133553 in over 39745 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1941 and intraday low of 1887.8. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2173850589.
