Central Bank of India raises Rs. 500 crore

The Capital Raising Committee of the Board of Directors of Central Bank of India at their meeting held on 04th February, 2020 has considered and approved the proposal for raising capital funds upto Rs. 500.00 crore by issuance and allotment of Non-Convertible Redeemable Unsecured Basel III compliant Tier 2 Bonds (Series-V) in the nature of promissory notes.

The Bank has successfully raised Rs 500.00 Crore and the Capital Raising committee of the Bank has allotted 5000 bonds of Rs. 10.00 Lakh each.

Shares of CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.12.6 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 12.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 73752 in over 298 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 12.7 and intraday low of 12.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 914506.
