Betala Global to merge with Volvie Capital Management

Betala Global Securities Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 08, 2007, inter alia, has considered reverse merger of Betala Global Securities Ltd (BGSL) with Volvie Capital Management (P) Ltd (VCMPL) and it was resolved to proceed with the reverse merger and the exchange ratio will be every five shares of BGSL will get one Share of VCMPL, subject to necessary approvals from stock exchange, other Regulatory bodies and Honorable High Court of Chennai.

The stock was trading at Rs.12.41, down by Rs.0.39 or 3.05%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.12.80 and low of Rs.12.17.

The total traded quantity was 1500 compared to 2 week average of 4629.
