Engineers India denies news on company entering oil exploration business

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Engineers India flares up", Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has clarified that the Company is not currently entering Oil Exploration Business nor has it secured any big Oil Exploration Services Contract.

The stock closed the day at Rs.626.30, up by Rs.44.50 or 7.65%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.673 and low of Rs.605.

The total traded quantity was 457537 compared to 2 week average of 43556.
