FII holding in JSW Steel at 25.22%

With reference to the earlier announcement dated July 26, 2006 whereby the Company had informed that all resolutions stated in the notice of the 12th Annual General Meeting, which included a resolution according consent of the shareholders to permit Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) to acquire shares of Company upto 49% of its paid-up equity capital, were unanimously passed by the Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on July 25, 2006, JSW Steel Ltd has announced that the FIIs as at July 31, 2007 hold 25.22% of the Company's paid-up equity capital of Rs 163.98 crores.
