Vedanta Ltd allots 9.45% Rated Secured Redeemable NCDs worth Rs. 200 crores to SBI

Vedanta Ltd is proposing to issue Secured, Rated, Non-Cumulative, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) worth Rs. 2000 Crores.

The Company have allotted 20,000, 9.45% Secured, Rated, Non-Cumulative, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of Rs. 10,00,000 each (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) aggregating to Rs. 20,00,00,00,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Crores Only) to State Bank of India (SBI) on August 17, 2015. The NCDs are long term funds and this issuance will reduce our cost of funds.

Shares of Sesa Sterlite Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs.80.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 94.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2549649 in over 16412 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 92.95 and intraday low of 78.4. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 216126749.
