Idea Cellular Ltd Q1 net profit up 46.43% QoQ to Rs.193.31 Crores

Idea Cellular Ltd has announced the UnAudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after taxes of Rs.1933.1 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.1320.1 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total Income is Rs.9088.3 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.8555.4 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The company reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.0.73 for Quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.0.55 reported during Quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The closed the day at Rs.133.40, up by Rs.0.65 or 0.49%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.135.55 and low of Rs.131.10. The total traded quantity was 4221095 compared to 2 week average of 2474082.
