Megasoft allots shares to Visualsoft shareholders

Megasoft Ltd has announced that the Share Transfer / Investors Grievance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 17, 2007, has approved issue / allotment of 12,484,800 equity shares of Rs 10 each in terms of the Scheme of Amalgamation duly approved by the High Courts.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company has gone up from 31,782,493 equity shares of Rs 10 each aggregating to Rs 317,824,930 to 44,267,293 equity shares of Rs 10 each aggregating to Rs 442,672,930.

The stock closed the day at Rs.132.10, up by Rs.2.50 or 1.93%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.133 and low of Rs.129. The total traded quantity was 214843 compared to 2 week average of 129212.
