Orient Paper Board to consider Rights Issue

Orient Paper & Industries Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on May 24, 2007, inter alia, to decided Ratio, Price and Record Date in connection with the Company's Proposed Rights Issue or an aggregate amount of upto Rs 175 Crores.

The stock was trading at Rs.480, up by Rs.23.60 or 5.17%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.491.65 and low of Rs.453.05. The total traded quantity was 7915 compared to 2 week average of 2772.
