PNB allots 1,42,94,713 Equity Shares on preferential basis to Government of India

Punjab National Bank has on receipt of allotment money of Rs. 1247,99,99,184.65 from Government of India on March 04, 2013, the Bank has allotted 1,42,94,713 equity shares of the face value of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 863.05 (Issue price Rs. 873.05) per share.

The Punjab National Bank stock was trading at Rs.809.25, up by Rs.19.50 or 2.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.811.90 and low of Rs.792.70.

The total traded quantity was 1.08 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.67 lakhs.
