S L Bansal appointed Chairman & MD of Oriental Bank of Commerce

Ministry of Finance, Government of India vide notification dated December 27, 2011, has appointed Shri S. L. Bansal (in place of Sh. Nagesh Pydah who vacated office on February 29, 2012, upon superannuation) as Chairman & Managing Director of Oriental Bank of Commerce. Accordingly, Sh. S. L. Bansal has taken over the charge effective from March 01, 2012.

The Oriental Bank of Commerce stock was trading at Rs.279.05, down by Rs.2.45 or 0.87%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.282 and low of Rs.275.60.

The total traded quantity was 0.11 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.55 lakhs.
