HDFC allots 167105 shares pursuant to exercise of options under ESOS

On January 10, 2012, Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd has allotted 1,67,105 equity shares of Rs. 2 each under pursuant to exercise of stock options by certain employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 294,86,78,030 consisting of 147,43,39,015 equity shares of Rs. 2 each.

The HDFC stock was trading at Rs.682.45, up by Rs.19.50 or 2.94%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.685 and low of Rs.666.

The total traded quantity was 0.83 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.60 lakhs.
