Trident Ltd allots 5,35,03,427 equity shares

The Board of Directors of Trident Ltd at its meeting held on December 12, 2011, have allotted 5,35,03,427 equity shares of face value of Rs. 10 each fully paid up of the Company to shareholders of erstwhile Trident Infotech Ltd. and Trident Agritech Ltd. whose name appeared in the Register of Members/Beneficial Owners as per the details furnished by NSDL and CDSL on the record date i.e. December 02, 2011, as per the Exchange Ratio pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement for Amalgamation sanctioned by the Hon'ble Punjab fit Haryana High Court vide its Order dated September 29, 2011.

Consequent to this allotment, the paid up equity share capital of the Company has increased to Rs. 275,83,71,120/-.

The stock was trading at Rs.10.19, up by Rs.0.16 or 1.60%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.10.20 and low of Rs.10.05.

The total traded quantity was 9196 compared to 2 week average of 17914.
