NHPC Ltd to raise upto Rs.1000 crore

The Board of Directors of NHPC Ltd at its meeting held on October 28, 2011, has approved the raising of Secured / Unsecured, Non Convertible, Non Cumulative, Redeemable, Taxable Q-Series Bonds of Rs. 500 crore with Green Shoe Option up to Rs. 1000 crore on Private Placement Basis in Demat Form.

The stock was trading at Rs.23.70, down by Rs.0.50 or 2.07%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.24.20 and low of Rs.23.65.

The total traded quantity was 6.03 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 11.07 lakhs.
