Venus Power Ventures Board approves preferential issue

The Board of Directors of Venus Power Ventures (India) Ltd at its meeting held on October 26, 2011, has considered the proposal to offer, issue and allot upto 3,00,00,000 Equity Shares on preferential Basis to promoter and/or persons other than promoters subject to the consent of the members.

The Board also approved proposal to convene and conduct an Extra ordinary General Meeting on November 30, 2011 for recommending the proposal of preferential issue.

The stock closed the day at Rs.8.30, down by Rs.0.29 or 3.38%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.8.70 and low of Rs.7.35.

The total traded quantity was 4112 compared to 2 week average of 8176.
