Coromandel Fertilisers Updates on Open Offer to the shareholders of Godavari Fertilisers & Chemicals

Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd ("Manager to the Offer") for and on behalf of Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd ("Acquirer") has issued this Corrigendum to the Public Announcement to the shareholders of Godavari Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd ("Target Company"), which is in continuation of and should be read in conjunction with the Public Announcement ("PA") dated January 25, 2007, pursuant to and in compliance with, among others, regulation 11(1) and regulation 12 of the Securities & Exchange Board of India (Substantial Acquisition of Shares & Takeovers) Regulations, 1997, as amended ("Regulations") issued by the Securities & Exchange Board of India ("SEBI").

The shareholders of the Target Company are requested to note the following:

- The last date for revising the Offer Price / Offer Size should be read as March 08, 2007 instead of March 09, 2007.

- The last date for withdrawing acceptance of the Offer should be read as March 14, 2007 instead of March 15, 2007.

The terms used but not defined in this Announcement shall have the same meaning assigned to them in the PA.
