Raipur Alloys equity shareholders & secured creditors approve Scheme of Merger

Raipur Alloys & Steel Ltd has announced pursuant to the orders of Hon'ble High Court of Bombay - Nagpur Bench, meetings of the secured creditors and equity shareholders of the Company were held on February 15, 2007 for seeking their approval to the proposed merger of M/s. Chhattisgarh Electricity Company Ltd (CECL) and M/s. Raipur Gases Pvt Ltd (RGPL) with the Company.

Further the Company has informed that, the secured creditors of the Company and the members of the Company have approved the proposed merger.
