Shree Renuka Sugars signs contract for supplying ethanol to IOC, HPCL, BPCL & CPCL

Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 25, 2007 has approved the appointment of Mr. Surender Kumar Tuteja, I.A.S. (Retd) as an Additional Director of the Company w.e.f. January 25, 2007.

- The Company has signed a contract to supply 30 million litres per year of Ethanol to the Oil Marketing Companies (IOC, HPCL, BPCL & CPCL) for state of Karnataka, for the period upto October 31, 2008 which is 85% of the total tendered quantity for the State.

- The Company has won the tender for supply of 10 million litres per year of Ethanol to the Oil Marketing Companies (IOC, HPCL, BPCL) for state of Andhra Pradesh for a period of three years. This is 24% of the total tender quantity, the contract for which will be executed shortly.

- The Company is the sole bidder in the State of Kerala for supply of 19.4 million litres, of Ethanol per year, out of 32.4 Million litres and is awaiting the final decision from the Oil Marketing Companies.
