Sun TV announces net profit of Rs.130.23 Crores

Sun TV Ltd has announced the following Audited Results for the year ended March 31, 2006:

The Company has posted a profit after taxes of Rs 1302.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 767.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2005. Total Revenues has increased from Rs 3010.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2005 to Rs 3391.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2006.

Further the Company has informed that, the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from September 15, 2006 to September 28, 2006 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of dividend and 21st Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on September 28, 2006.
