Micro Technologies secures Prestigious Maharashtra Information Technologies Award 2006

Micro Technologies India Ltd has announced that the Company has bagged the prestigious "Maharashtra Information Technology Award 2006" for its innovative initiatives and outstanding performances under the category of IT-Research and Development. Hon´ble Shri. Ashok Chavan, Minister for industries of Maharashtra, presented the prestigious award in a glittering ceremony held on August 22, in Mumbai.

The Maharashtra Information Technology Award is presented every year, in recognition of outstanding innovations and contribution in the field of Information technology, with a view to promote entrepreneurship in IT industry.

Over the years, the Company has developed a wide range of security and IT products using its leverage over various state-of-the-art technology platforms such as Embedded, Web-based and client server applications. Some of the Company’s focus areas comprises of Security, E-commerce, Telecommunications Wireless Technology and GIS. The Company has spearheaded a movement against the calamities, natural or human engineered and has identified the crucial need for a comprehensive mechanism for combating any kind of such disaster.
