ABG Shipyard secures major order from M/s Pacific First Shipping Pte, Singapore

ABG Shipyard Ltd has announced that the Company has secured a major order from M/s. Pacific First Shipping Pte, Singapore for 12 vessels for their fleet expansion program. The order is for construction of 9 AHTS vessels and 3 Dry bulk carriers. The total value of the order is Rs 10,305.0 Mio (USD 229.0 Mio). The last delivery will be in December 2009. With this, the Company has started accepting orders for its upcoming Dahej Shipyard where we can make vessels up to 120,000 DWT.

Pacific First Shipping Pte (PFS) is involved in offshore business and bulk segment.

General information of the project is as under:

1. Order for construction of 5 AHTS vessels of 82 MT, 4 AHTS vessels of 180 MT & 3 bulk carriers of about 54,000 DWT each.

2. Value of the order is Rs 10,305.0 Mio (US$ 229.0 Mio)

Following this order, the order book position of the Company, as on date, stands at about Rs 34,755.0 Mio approximately.
