XL Telecom Ltd has announced that the Company has received orders valued over Rs 67 crores for supply of CDMA Fixed Wireless Phones and Export of Solar Panels.
TELECOM:
The Company has been focusing in Telecom for several years and is a leading supplier of CDMA Phones to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL). The Company has recently completed its earlier order valued over Rs 96 Crores. BSNL has issued 50% repeat order on satisfactory completion of the initial order. The Company has to supply 1,79,082 Fixed Wireless Phones to BSNL valued over Rs 46.87 Crores with in this Quarter ending March 2007.
Dinesh Kumar, Managing Director of the Company says that the Company and its Technical Partner Axestel is fully ready and will meet the delivery schedules of the BSNL, without any problems.
ENERGY:
The Company has been focusing in the ENERGY sector since 1994 and has recently refocused on Export Market of Solar Panels of higher Capacity. The Company has been investing heavily for last 18 months its efforts to get orders from Europe and emerging US Market for its products. The Company has been successful in adding second Customer in the European Market, who is a large Power Utility Company in Europe. The Company has received a pilot order valued over Rs 20 Crores for supply of 1 MW of Solar Panels. The Company is bullish on entering as a vendor with this large Power Utility Company and is confident that over the period the Customer engagement will be extremely fruitful with multiple repeat orders.
The Company has recently concluded its IPO and has raised about Rs 59 crores and as part of its expansion plan is investing Rs 8 Crores in expanding the Solar Panel Manufacturing capacity to 24 MW per annum. The Company follows July to June financial year and has achieved Rs 400 Crores Revenues for the financial year 2005-06.
