Vimal Oil & Foods Board to consider rights issue

Vimal Oil & Foods Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on January 08, 2007, inter alia, to transact the following business:

1. To fix the record date for the purpose of entitlement of right shares.

2. To consider and fix the issue price for rights and Public Issue.

3. To consider the rights shares entitlement ratio.

4. To consider and approve the audited accounts as on November 30, 2006 for the purpose of incorporating the same in offer document.
