Allcargo Global to acquire Hindustan Cargo Ltd from Thomas Cook India Ltd

Allcargo Global Logistics Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 30, 2006, has approved acquisition of entire paid up capital comprising of 2,50,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each in Hindustan Cargo Ltd from its holding Company, Thomas Cook India Ltd.

By virtue of aforesaid acquisition, Hindustan Cargo Ltd will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company with effect from the date of registration of physical transfer of equity shares in favour of the Company. Hindustan Cargo Ltd is predominantly into an Airfreight and Logistic business.
