GMR Industries equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Arrangement

GMR Industries Ltd has announced that pursuant to the order of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on January 19, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and, if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the Scheme of Arrangement between Bharat Sugar Mills Ltd, the Company and GMR Ferro Alloys & Industries Ltd and their respective shareholders.
