Amrit Enterprises equity shareholders & unsecured creditors to approve Scheme of Arrangement

Amrit Enterprises Ltd has announced that pursuant to the order of the Hon'ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh, separate meetings of the Unsecured Creditors & Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on January 13, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and, if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the Arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Arrangement proposed between Amrit Banaspati Company Ltd, ABC Paper Ltd, the Company and their respective shareholders & creditors.
