Bharti Airtel clarifies on news item regarding demerging telecom setup

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Bharti plans hiving off telecom setup", Bharti Airtel Ltd has clarified that the Company is exploring several opportunities in this regard but these are at preliminary stage and has not been approved by the Board as of date.
