Reliance Communications equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Arrangement

Reliance Communications Ltd has announced that pursuant to the Order of Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay, a meeting of the equity shareholders of the Company will be held on January 27, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and, if thought fit, approving with or without modification, the Scheme of Arrangement between the Company (First Demerged Company) and Reliance Telecom Ltd (Second Demerged Company) and Reliance Telecom Infrastructure Ltd (Resulting Company) (the Scheme).
