Eicher EGM approves delisting of shares

Eicher Ltd has announced that the members at the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on December 23, 2006, have passed the resolution with overwhelming majority approving voluntary delisting of the shares of the Company from the Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd (NSE) in accordance with the provisions of the SEBI (Delisting of Securities) Guidelines, 2003.

Earlier, Eicher Goodearth Ltd (Acquirer) along with the Persons Acting in Concert had intimated the Company that in order to consolidate their stake in the Company and provide exit opportunity to the existing shareholders, EGL desire to voluntarily delist the shares of the Company from BSE and NSE.
