Anik Industries updates on amalgamation

Anik Industries Ltd has announced that pursuant to the Composite Scheme of Arrangement and Amalgamation of Anik Industries Pvt Ltd and General Foods Ltd and the Company and Ruchi Health Foods Ltd and Ruchi Pvt Ltd and Nutrela Marketing Pvt Ltd and Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd and their respective shareholders and as approved by the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay vide its order dated June 30, 2006, the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 23, 2006 has allotted 6642956 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each, fully paid up on pari-passu basis, to the shareholders of Anik Industries Pvt Ltd (merging Company).
