Union Bank of India's Venture into Life Insurance Business

Union Bank of India has announced that the Bank has decided to venture into Life Insurance business jointly with Bank of India and The Dai—ichi Mutual Life Insurance Co., Japan.

An MOU signing ceremony of their Life Insurance Joint Venture will be held on December 21, 2006.
