Hero Honda Motors Q1 profit soars to Rs 500.11 crore

Hero Honda Motors Ltd has announced the Unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 5001.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 2728.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 28902.50 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 to Rs 38649.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1639.80, down by Rs.34.05 or 2.03%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1727 and low of Rs.1620.10.

The total traded quantity was 125431 compared to 2 week average of 80437.
