Uniproducts India to fix record date for rights issue

Uniproducts India Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on December 18, 2006 inter alia, to discuss the following:

1. To approve and take on record the Letter of Offer prepared for the proposed Rights Issue of the Company.

2. To fix the record date for the purposes of the Rights Issue of the Company so that shares may be issued to those members whose names would appear on that date in the register of members of the Company.
