Tatas to take stake in Spicejet

Spicejet Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 11, 2006 has decided to offer equity shares on preferential basis to various foreign and domestic investors.

The potential investors include Tata Group Companies, Texas Pacific Group Ventures, Istithmar PJSC and Goldman Sachs amongst others with offers aggregating to US$ 118.5 million.
