Spentex Industries consolidates Uzbekistan Presence

Spentex Industries Ltd has announced that to consolidate its presence in Uzbekistan the Investment Committee of the Company has approved the following investment through its subsidiary, Spentex Netherlands BV:

1. To acquire immovable asset of "Farg'ona Ip-Gazlama Ishlab Chiqarish' to set up a dyeing house for work wear, outdoor fabrics, military use, institutional uniforms/wear, industrial fabrics, home fabrics, home furnishing fabrics etc with an initial production capacity of 30,000 m/day and the flexibility to increase its subsequently.

2. To enter into a technical and marketing collaboration with British Millerain, UK a century old company, having well accepted brand name in Europe and other countries. British Millerain, UK (www.britishmillerain.com) offers a diverse range of performance fabrics to an international clientele and operates through its sales network worldwide.
