Rajesh Exports Ltd has announced that the Company has bagged an export order worth Rs 226 crores of gold jewellery from Radha Krishna Jewellers, Dubai. The Company is globally known for its consistent quality and international finish due to which this order has been placed by Radha Krishna Jewellers, Dubai. The order is placed for the new collection of jewellery developed by the R&D wing of the Company. The new festive collection of jewellery has been launched by the Company in the international markets for the festive season. This order has to be completed by December 25, 2006. The Company is confident that it will complete this order by then comfortably.
The international markets have been exhibiting robust demand for Indian designer jewellery. The Company has one of the best designing teams in the country and the Company is abreast with the trends in the international markets.
India is the largest market for gold jewellery in the world, with an annual turnover exceeding Rs 85000 crores. The Company has decided to acquire a major share of this market and has implemented plans to leverage its economies of scale by expanding into consumer retail markets of India. The Company has already completed the launch or Fourteen "LAABH" showrooms in the cities of Rajkot, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Delhi, Jammu, Amritsar, Varanasi, Indore, Ludhiana, Patna, Srinagar, Bhubaneswar and Secunderabad. The Company is confident of completing the launch of thirty "LAABH" showrooms nationwide before the November 15, 2006. This move will give the Company a Pan India retail presence with "LAABH", positioned as a great value for money product and design destination for gold jewellery targeting the urban jewellery market of India. The retail foray of the Company would be the main driver of profitability and the Company expects a notable addition to its bottom line due to the retail foray.
