Spanco Telesystems to change name as "Spanco Ltd"

Spanco Telesystems & Solutions Ltd has announced that the shareholders at the 25th Annual General Meeting held on September 19, 2008 have approved to change the name of the Company from "Spanco Telesystems and Solutions Ltd" to "Spanco Ltd". Consequently the Company has filed requisite forms with the Registrar of Companies for their approval.

The Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra have approved the new name and issued a fresh certificate of Incorporation consequent upon Change of name of the Company on October 13, 2008 which was received by the Company on October 18, 2008.

The stock closed the day at Rs.39.15, up by Rs.0.40 or 1.03%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.40.50 and low of Rs.39.

The total traded quantity was 80405 compared to 2 week average of 53230.
