Somany Ceramics Ltd updates on supply of gas

Somany Ceramics Limited has received a communication from Sabarmati Gas Limited (SGL) stating that due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and its impact on global energy markets, R-LNG supplies have been severely impacted.

Accordingly, SGL has informed that the Daily Contracted Quantity of gas supply shall be provisionally restricted to 50% of the contracted quantity or the actual average daily volume drawn during February 2026, whichever is lower, with effect from 6th March, 2026 (06:00 hours) until further notice. This restriction may temporarily impact operations at the Company's Kadi plant, District Mehsana, Kadi, Gujarat ("Plant").

The Company also has limited gas supply arrangements with GAIL (India) Limited and considering this arrangement and available inventory, the Company does not foresee any material impact on its overall business operations at present. All other plants of the Company continue to operate normally.

The Company is closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates in case of any material developments.

Shares of Somany Ceramics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 375.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 374.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2630 in over 130 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 387.20 and intraday low of 370.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 994663.00.
