Shree Digvijay Cement Company Limited (SDCCL) has reported its consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), delivering strong top-line momentum driven by a significant expansion in sales volumes.

The company achieved a 72.12% year-on-year (YoY) increase in operational revenue, supported by its strategic Brand Usage, Supply, and Distributorship Agreement (BDA) with Hi-Bond Cement (India) Private Limited.

Operational Performance & Volume Expansion

Total Sales Volume: SDCCL sold 6.06 lakh tons of cement during Q1 FY27, representing a 68.80% YoY increase compared to 3.59 lakh tons in Q1 FY26 and a 53.81% sequential growth over 3.94 lakh tons in Q4 FY26.

Hi-Bond Agreement Impact: A key contributor to volume growth was the supply agreement with Hi-Bond Cement. The company sold 2,49,343 MT of cement manufactured at the Hi-Bond plant during the quarter, scaling up sharply from 29,928 MT sold in Q4 FY26.

Financial Highlights (Q1 FY27 vs Q1 FY26 & Q4 FY26)

Revenue from Operations: Surged to ₹33,726.73 lakh (₹337.27 crore), up 72.12% YoY from ₹19,594.61 lakh in Q1 FY26 and 61.78% sequentially from ₹20,847.16 lakh in Q4 FY26.

EBITDA: Total EBITDA rose 20.21% YoY to ₹3,028 lakh, up from ₹2,519 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹2,510 lakh in Q4 FY26.

EBITDA per Ton: Stood at ₹500/ton, compared to ₹701/ton in Q1 FY26 and ₹637/ton in Q4 FY26, reflecting higher raw material costs and subcontracting expenses associated with scaled-up volume distribution.

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Came in at ₹914.82 lakh, compared to ₹1,851.79 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹1,079.41 lakh in Q4 FY26, impacted by higher finance costs and operational cost escalations.

Tax Expenses: Totaled ₹232.66 lakh (Current tax of ₹210.70 lakh and Deferred tax of ₹21.96 lakh).

Net Profit After Tax (PAT): Reported at ₹682.16 lakh, compared to ₹1,378.68 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹794.28 lakh in Q4 FY26.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS stood at ₹0.46 per share (face value ₹10 each), compared to ₹0.93 in Q1 FY26 and ₹0.54 in Q4 FY26.

Breakdown of Key Operating Expenses

Total consolidated expenses for Q1 FY27 expanded to ₹32,919.92 lakh, up from ₹17,882.91 lakh in Q1 FY26, largely reflecting higher volume throughput:

Sub-Contracting Cost (Purchased Cement): Increased to ₹12,091.51 lakh in Q1 FY27 (Nil in Q1 FY26), following the operationalization of the Hi-Bond plant supply agreement.

Cost of Materials Consumed: Stood at ₹5,467.28 lakh (versus ₹3,883.60 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Power and Fuel Expenses: Amounted to ₹5,630.20 lakh (versus ₹5,749.01 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Freight and Handling Expenses: Stood at ₹3,412.98 lakh (versus ₹3,278.90 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Finance Costs: Stood at ₹1,162.97 lakh (versus ₹57.95 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Depreciation & Amortization: Amounted to ₹950.12 lakh (versus ₹608.64 lakh in Q1 FY26).

Segment Performance & Balance Sheet Metrics

Segment Revenue: The Cement Business accounted for the entire revenue from operations of ₹33,726.73 lakh. The logistics and trading business segment recorded nominal activity with zero net revenue contribution.

Segment Profit Before Interest & Tax (PBIT): Cement segment profit reached ₹2,078.15 lakh, compared to ₹1,910.10 lakh in Q1 FY26 and ₹1,559.91 lakh in Q4 FY26.

Total Segment Assets: Expanded to ₹1,15,254.95 lakh as of June 30, 2026, compared to ₹73,082.17 lakh as of June 30, 2025.

Total Segment Liabilities: Stood at ₹78,013.20 lakh (versus ₹35,358.16 lakh as of June 30, 2025).

Net Capital Employed: Total net capital employed reached ₹37,241.75 lakh.

Paid-up Equity Capital: Stood at ₹14,791.50 lakh (Face value ₹10 per share).

Management Commentary

Commenting on the macro environment and strategic execution, the management highlighted that performance during the quarter was influenced by geopolitical uncertainties that disrupted global supply chains and pushed up input and logistics costs. Despite these headwinds, the company maintained operational stability, expanded its market reach via strategic distribution agreements, and established a strong foundation for long-term growth.
