Driven by a strong operational surge in its core fertilizer and chemicals division, the company registered solid top-line and bottom-line growth on both a year-on-year (YoY) and sequential basis.
Financial Highlights
Rama Phosphates delivered a strong top-line performance for Q1 FY27, reporting Revenue from Operations of ₹224.80 crore (₹22,479.59 lakh). This represents an 18.12% YoY growth compared to ₹190.31 crore in Q1 FY26 and a sequential expansion from ₹219.08 crore posted in Q4 FY26. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹225.55 crore, supported by an other income contribution of ₹0.75 crore.
The company achieved a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of ₹22.81 crore (₹2,281.23 lakh) for the quarter, reflecting a 6.28% YoY increase against ₹21.46 crore in Q1 FY26 and a significant sequential jump from ₹6.85 crore in Q4 FY26.
After accounting for total tax expenses of ₹5.75 crore (comprising ₹5.74 crore in current tax and ₹0.01 crore in deferred tax), Net Profit After Tax (PAT) came in at ₹17.06 crore (₹1,706.44 lakh). This marks a 6.43% YoY increase over ₹16.03 crore in Q1 FY26 and more than triples the net profit of ₹5.37 crore recorded in the preceding quarter (Q4 FY26). Total Comprehensive Income for the period stood at ₹17.01 crore.
Basic and diluted Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the quarter rose to ₹4.82 (face value of ₹5/- per share), up from ₹4.53 in Q1 FY26 and ₹1.52 in Q4 FY26.

1. Fertilizers, Micro Nutrients & Chemicals

Segment Revenue: Recorded at ₹3.57 crore (₹356.88 lakh), down from ₹13.91 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹14.11 crore in Q4 FY26.
Segment Result: Posted a marginal segment loss before interest and tax of ₹0.28 crore (₹28.18 lakh), mirroring the trend from Q1 FY26 (loss of ₹0.28 crore).
