Net Profit (PAT): Consolidated net profit attributable to owners of the company came in at ₹467.45 crore, translating to a Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) of ₹116.37 (face value ₹10 per share), up from ₹65.45 in Q1 FY26 and ₹63.09 in Q4 FY26.
Total Comprehensive Income: Total comprehensive income stood at ₹328.89 crore, after factoring in negative foreign currency items within Other Comprehensive Income (OCI) of ₹138.56 crore.

Conductors
The Conductors segment remained the largest revenue driver for the company, generating gross segment revenue of ₹3,338.13 crore in Q1 FY27, up 19.9% YoY from ₹2,784.72 crore in Q1 FY26. Segment results (profit before finance costs and tax) grew 16.2% YoY to ₹274.40 crore, compared to ₹236.12 crore in the year-ago period.
Transformer and Specialty Oils
The Transformer and Specialty Oils division witnessed a dramatic surge in profitability. Segment revenue grew 34.8% YoY to ₹1,700.87 crore, compared to ₹1,262.06 crore in Q1 FY26. Segment operating results quadrupled, skyrocketing 238.9% YoY to ₹331.34 crore, up from ₹97.78 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹81.87 crore in Q4 FY26.
Power / Telecom Cables
The Cables division posted healthy top-line growth with segment revenue rising 29.5% YoY to ₹1,838.06 crore, up from ₹1,419.43 crore in Q1 FY26. Segment profit stood at ₹83.07 crore, compared to ₹132.09 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹190.78 crore in Q4 FY26.
Others
Other niche business activities delivered gross segment revenue of ₹68.70 crore with an operating profit of ₹5.51 crore.

Total consolidated expenses for Q1 FY27 were contained at ₹6,002.37 crore, compared to ₹4,776.44 crore in Q1 FY26:
