Indian Energy Exchange Limited (IEX) today declared its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). Driven by record peak power demand during severe heatwaves across the country, the company delivered double-digit growth across trading volumes, revenues, and bottom-line profitability.
Consolidated Revenue from Operations for the quarter rose 10.1% year-on-year to ₹202.8 crore, up from ₹184.2 crore in Q1 FY26. Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) grew 11.7% year-on-year to ₹134.8 crore, compared to ₹120.7 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Proposed IPO: IGX filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) for an Initial Public Offering on July 14, 2026. To comply with Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) regulations requiring a reduction in promoter holding to 25%, IEX (which currently holds 47.3%) will execute an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 22.3% equity shares.
International Carbon Exchange (ICX)
Issuances: Issued 42.4 lakh International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs) during Q1 FY27, compared to 44.4 lakh in Q1 FY26.
Revenue: Generated ₹2.1 crore, marking a 16.1% YoY increase from ₹1.8 crore in Q1 FY26.
