Power infrastructure developer Bajel Projects Limited has announced a major business win in the high-growth digital infrastructure sector. The company has been awarded a "Mega" Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract by a prominent domestic datacenter client based in Mumbai.
As per the company's official order classification policy, a "Mega Order" represents a contract valued between ₹300 crores and ₹400 crores (inclusive of GST). This strategic win marks Bajel Projects' deep entry into providing specialized Extra High Voltage (EHV) power solutions tailored for high-density tech facilities.
Scope of Work and Executive Timeline
The contract outlines turnkey infrastructure responsibilities designed to secure reliable, heavy-duty power links for the Mumbai data center hub.
Project Nature: Full-service EPC contract covering design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and subsequent performance testing.
Technical Specification: Setting up a specialized 400/220/33 KV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS). Gas Insulated Substations are highly preferred in dense urban zones like Mumbai due to their compact footprint, superior safety profiles, and high operational reliability.
Execution Period: The entire project lifecycle is mandated to be completed within 24 months from the official commencement date.
